SAGA Workshops

The Sacred Arts Guild of Alberta sponsors a variety of activities designed to promote the personal and professional development of it's members, including occasional workshops, lectures, open studios, and sacred art walks.

SAGA workshops focus on learning of traditional methods and techniques of art and craft making that can be used to create new, contemporary expressions of faith that are also rooted in the ancient Christian tradition of liturgical and sacred art. We endeavour to find the best teachers who have a mastery of the traditional techniques of their craft while having a reputation as excellent teachers.

Certain designated workshops can also be taken as credit towards the studio portion of the Master of Sacred Arts offered by Pontifex University.  For some highlights of past workshops, please click here.
